Reiki, Karuna and Sekhem

Healing involves you lying on a treatment couch, fully clothed while the practitioner gently places their hands either on your body, or in your aura and channels energy into your physical, auric and spiritual bodies. The energy has its own intelligence and flows to where it is most needed. The recipient usually feels deeply relaxed and calm, often experiencing a profound sense of "letting go" of earthly anxieties. During the healing session chakras, meridians and life force energies are cleansed and brought into harmonious balance. Old patterns and issues are released and surrendered and replaced with an exquisite feeling of total peace and serenity.

All healing sessions cost £30-00 per hour and last for 60 - 90 mins.

What is Reiki?

Reiki means Universal Life Force Energy. It is a simple yet powerful technique of energy transmission primarily through the hands. It can also be given through the eyes, by casting your gaze on a specific area and the breath, by blowing into a particular area.

What does Reiki feel like?

Reiki is usually experienced as a warm and gentle feeling, which creates a deep sense of peace and relaxation.


What does Reiki do?

Reiki calms the mind and emotions, bringing you into balance and harmony. It relieves stress and renews your life force energy. It stimulates the body’s metabolism and detoxification systems. It has aided the healing of virtually all know illnesses and injuries. Reiki can relieve pain whilst strengthening the immune system to aid the body’s own natural healing activity. It also opens the way to new depths of spiritual experience and understanding.

Reiki workshops

Reiki 1 (approx 10/11 hours over 2 days or 3 half-days with a 1 1/2 hour follow-up session) costs £120-00

Reiki 2 (approx 7 hours over 1 day or 2 half-days with a 1 1/2 hour follow-up session) costs £120-00

Reiki Master Practitioner (approx 10/11 hours over 2 days or 3 half-days with 2/3 follow-up sessions) costs £250-00

Reiki Master Teacher (approx 10/11 hours over 2 days or 3 half-days with 2/3 follow-up sessions) costs £250-00

Karuna

Karuna is a Sanskrit word meaning “any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others” or “compassionate action”. The Reiki Karuna system of healing was developed by Reiki Master, William L. Rand, and encapsulates an immensely powerful yet loving, caring energy, which necessitates the Practitioner to appreciate the Universal wisdom that we are all one.
The 12 symbols used were channelled by several other Reiki Masters and William meditated on them and was guided to develop an attunement process and give the system its inspirational name. Recipients of the healing and attunements report experiences with their various guides and angels and feel the presence of other enlightened beings, for example Ascended Masters.

Karuna level 1, which involves being attuned to 4 of the symbols, takes ½ day if the recipient is already a Reiki 2 healer and costs £60-00.

Karuna level 2, which involves being attuned to an additional 4 symbols, also takes ½ day if the recipient is already a Reiki 2 healer and costs £75-00.

Karuna level 1 & 2 can be combined into a day workshop, costing £120-00.

Karuna Mastership involves attunement to the remaining 4 symbols and requires a further day if the recipient is already a Reiki Master, costing £150-00.

Sekhem

Sekhem, means “spiritual might or authority” and is an ancient system of wisdom taught in the temples in early Egyptian times. It is said to come to us via the star system Sirius and carries a very high vibrational frequency.

The myriad symbols which comprise the Sekhem system include the “sacred spiral” which magnifies living light energy, a “dispersing” symbol, which breaks up stuck/blocked energy, as well as powerful symbols which expand and magnify unconditional love, bring clarity, wisdom and peace, and protect and cleanse.
